Melbourne's axe throwing session is a great way to find out which of the lads has a hidden talent and which one should never be handed sharp objects. Your crew gets the run of a private cage for two hours, starting light with tactical tomahawks and building up to the big long axes. Coaches take everyone through the safety rules and the right grip and release, then it becomes a tournament, with the podium finishers taking home medals. Closed-toe shoes are a must, along with clothes that let you move, so don't pack your tightest flannel for this one. It's all based indoors, so the finicky Melbourne weather won't get a say in whether you win or lose with this one.
