GETTING AROUND

Hobart is a great city to see by foot, or bicycle. With most of the CBD within walking distance, why not save some cash and burn off those lunch time beers. You never know what you may find! There are some public transport options, so if you find yourself travelling a little further with your bucks party, then hop on a city bus. As always, Ubers and taxis provide a hassle-free way to get around town. Hobart is never too busy, or too crowded, so getting around is as easy as pie..

CULTURE VULTURE

In Hobart, it’s all about the local booze makers and the amazing views. Although MONA is always a popular site to visit, the beers and breweries in town may be a better option for your bucks’ weekend. With loads of smaller craft breweries and the larger Cascade Breweries, there’s lots to check out, and even more to drink. At The Bucks Co we have some great brewery and drinking tours to get you started.

If you’re in the mood for something more exciting than an afternoon at the pub, check out our fishing and boat cruise packages as well, not only will you get some quality time with the boys on the open water, you get some great Tasmanian views included, free of charge.

BABY WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT

While the Hobart nightlife can be fairly quiet, there is a lot of variety in the types of venues throughout the city to check out and make the night your own. If you head up to Salamanca you can choose from the many bars and venues in the area, or head up to North Hobart if you’re in the mood for some classic pubs. Finding some live music in town is never hard, and often walking through the streets you can hear some great tunes coming from the bars and pubs in the area. With a few nightclubs in Hobart and even a strip club to bring your buck to, you are sure to find something that is perfect for your bucks big night.
